Very disappointed in my last visit to this restaurant. I will never return and suggest that future clients take their business to other restaurants in Little Italy. The food is overrated .. and the service that we encountered was a 3 out of 10 at best ... the lady behind the bar has some serious issues and needs medication after I saw how she deals with paying customers. Bad for business.
My husband and I went to Trattoria for lunch on the recommendation from another local business. We were so impressed after our visit that we sought out information on using them as the site for our rehearsal dinner for our wedding. Trattoria is consistent, but not outstanding Before going to Italy and truly tasting the difference in the way they prepare their authentic, fresh dishes, I would have given Trattoria 5 stars. By comparison now, I am much more critical of Italian food and see that what this place lacks in authenticity and creativity they make up for with sizable portions and great prices. I take my less discriminating in-laws here, and we all have a good time. I have never had poor service here, either.
Awsome as always! – I have always had good service and GREAT food here. I'v been comming here for 25 yrs and have NEVER been disappointed. I bring people here all the time. Was here again Sat. nov. 27th and brought my out of town Family. Everyone Loved the food and service. "Salute Trattoria!!" :)
Excellent Food & Service I enjoyed an evening at the Trattoria this summer. We had a nice family dinner and it was absolutely delicious. I had the chicken parmigiana and tira misu for dessert. The prices were reasonable and they had a great menu selection. The waiter was outstanding and there was not a long wait. They also served the best Sangria I've ever had. I can't wait to go back.
great authentic food, best italian in town. – This place is consistently awesome. It is not the ritziest place in the world, but that's the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars. My family I have been going for years. I've tried all the restaurants in little italy and this one has no competition. You see the same staff there year after year. I've been to this place four or five times in the past two years, and the food has always been excellent. However, I am highly disappointed with my last visit. Five-Star Spot Nested in Little Italy, Trattoria Roman Garden has three dining rooms and a patio, yet always a line at the door despite all the seating! That really speaks to the quality of their restaurant. Their food is superb, from delicate raviolis to pasta with marinara sauce. Each dish comes is served in humongous portions and their prices are great. Often, on weekends, they have live music with Sinatra tunes to enhance the Italian experience.
