Trappers is losing their touch. It’s not worth the price anymore. Happy hours cool, but still things are made sloppier as the years go on. Sad to see - Quality’s going downhill. Trappers, you can do better!
Went for happy hour yesterday 10/5. It was horrible. Cups were dirty with lipstick. Calamari was so overcooked, like hockey pucks. The tempura veggies were undercooked and soggy. Plus half there menu is only for weekdays. No one came back to offer refills or check on us and the bar was empy. The buyer bartender disappeared and I had to hunt her down to get our check. Complete tasteless food. Total bummer.
If I could give less than one star, I would. We went based on the good reviews and left extremely disappointed. The sushi rice had a strange taste, the presentation was sloppy, and the prices were far too high for what was offered. The calamari were over-fried, and even our toddler—who only ordered cucumber sushi—couldn’t finish it because of the taste and stickiness of the rice. Honestly, our local supermarket offers much better sushi. Save yourself the money and the trip.
A solid midrange priced sushi place. Definitely has quality and I was satisfied for with the prices too.
I came in with a party of 6, they seated us quickly and got our drinks right away. The reason for making this review for me, is the fact that the “Shrooman” dish was absolutely outstanding. The best appetizer I have ever had at a sushi restaurant, above and beyond in all ways. My entree the “magnificent” was phenomenal and so tasty.
