George and David (the owners) are not honest at all, I would avoid this place at all costs. I paid good money for a 6l80 rebuild only to find out they replaced the converter only and NOTHING inside the transmission itself. It left me stranded in another state 3 weeks later. Upon taking the vehicle to another transmission shop in a different state is when I found out the trans was never taken apart for a rebuild. I spent over $3500 with TransTech and another $2500 for the new shop to correct the issue. George cussed me out on... read more

I had put a rebuilt 4l60e transmission in my Chevy Astro van and it never worked quite right. I finally gave in and handed it over to Transtech. It came back working flawlessly! It is the best shifting GM transmission I have ever driven now. The price was very reasonable and it was done quick. Very appreciative. Thanks
