Genuinely the worst part of uc Merced. I have been given the permission for parking on campus due to extreme circumstances but I can’t purchase a permit for some random reason and they keep ticketing me. the appeal process is a lottery system and the whole department is just out to get money.
Under performing guy who runs it has no concern for student life, Parking on this campus is horrendous. Designated zones for those who live on campus and being on opposite sides of campus, getting tickets for parking in a lot where there's clearly more spaces available, its a joke, For real trying to squeeze every penny possible from students. would give 0 stars if possible. and tickets are 63 and up, and BTW a financial hardship isn't considered a appealable reason.
