Most horrible parking system and service I have every had the pain of going through. There's no where to park, too many unused orange parking spaces, and I was even given a parking ticket passed the weekly parking days. I hope people see this message so they know just how BS TAPS is.
As a Special Disabled Veteran working on UF’s campus, I’m extremely disappointed in the misinformation and lack of accommodation from the UF Transportation and Parking Office. Their website clearly states that reserved disabled parking spaces are available for purchase — yet when I inquired, the clerk told me that’s no longer a thing. Trash website. Doesnt clearly list all parking rules. Cant even find summer parking changes intuitively. Not sure who gets paid to code these things. Reach out and i can offer suggestions.
They used to lift the parking during break weeks. As a student employee, this was incredibly helpful as my bus does not run during break weeks, and I have no option other than driving. However, this policy was changed without explanation and was absolutely not made clear on their website as of 5/5/2025. Considering how bad UF’s parking options already are, this is really not ideal.
