This review is long overdue. There is no other shop I would take my car to. They are the most skilled and trustworthy shop I have ever been to
Shaun took the time to look over my car and gave honest feedback to me helping save hundreds compared to what the dealership would have done. I will be hitting these guys up in the future, impressed with their shop.
Saved me from needing a new transmission! Another place told me I needed a new transmission and could get me a used one for $12k. This place said they could get new for $8k, but will take a look to see if something could easily be fixed. Shaun thoroughly checked it out and it turns out that I don't need a new one after all. Hard to find an honest place anymore, but this is it! Saved me thousands!
I took my 5th gen 4Runner here to get a fluid film undercoating done, my appointment was at 9am and my car was already in the shop by 9am. Not only did Sean (hopefully I spelled that right) get the undercoat done quickly and effectively but he also showed me the finished product. I have peace of mind knowing my vehicle is protected against rust and I will definitely be a repeat customer. It’s hard to find quality shops that take pride in their work. Transplant Transmission is that quality shop!
The worst experience I’ve ever had with a repair shop. Took my minivan here to have a simple repair made, the radiator needed to be replaced. I paid $1200 for a radiator replacement, oil change, and alignment that would have to be scheduled at a later date. The initial interaction was pleasant. I was even told how great those vans are because the transmission was very easy and cheap to fix.
