The customer service representative was rude and couldn’t get my birthday right even after I repeated it four times. I called because the last time I used Transnet was in 2020, before COVID, and I wanted to check if they still had my paperwork, as nothing had changed for me. I have tried dealing with this but no one listens to me so here we are. I am a physically disabled client that uses transnet for medical appointments. Due to the fact that I live near the bus line, they refuse to take me to the hospital for appointments. They act like the bus takes us to the door. It doesn't. It drops you off on broad street at the entrance where the lights are. Then, you have to navigate by foot on a curvy road with no sidewalks and many blindspots. We used Transnet on 12/17/24 to transport my husband who is in a wheelchair from Assisted Living in Ambler to Abington Hospital for a speech test. On the way home the driver stepped on the brake and my husband fell backwards in the chair. His chair was not anchored on the front! He was not seriously hurt. Just very upset and a few bruises. Drivers should be trained better.
We were scheduled to use them for the first time today for my father in law. They never showed up and we had to call them. They were so behind that we had to cancel the doctor appointment. We waited 6 months for this appointment . Also, if you cancel your appointment inside 24 hours they bill you. Disgusted ! .
