This was my first time using non-emergency medical transport. I checked with all the top-rated services. Trans MedCare was a clear standout from the beginning. They were a little more expensive than the others, but Amanda in booking was super helpful. I hired them to transport for my father from Maryland to near family in North Carolina. We needed to transport my dad from Florida to Chicago. I chose this company because of the amount of detail they provided on their site, the fact that they always have a three-person crew, and the transparent information the owners provided about themselves. I was very nervous on day of departure but the crew was very kind and competent. They sent me text updates along the way so I knew everything was OK. My father was transported yesterday from New Mexico to Iowa, a 20 hour trip and I can’t say enough good things about the team that handled it. From start to finish, they were outstanding. They kept me updated throughout the trip, were gentle and patient with my dad (who is in hospice care), and took great care in making sure he was comfortable. I’m extremely pleased with the service we received from TransMedCare. They transported my grandmother safely. The best part was receiving updates throughout the journey, it put my family at ease. The crew was very pleasant and Jackie was extremely thorough in the drop off process and got the facilities team of nurses up to speed quickly.
