Had a terrible experience with another law firm. Someone I know suggested switching to Transitions. She said they were very good, thorough, and great in cases involving kids. I switched and am so glad I did. Alisa and Lisa helped me navigate the process from where I was to finish. They looked out for me and really cared about what was best for my daughter. While the divorce and whole process itself was difficult, they made it as good as it could be. So glad I changed!
She billed more than I consented to. I gave her $5,000 for retainer and my next bill was $14,000. She has sued her own clients to get paid for services clients don’t know they are being charged for. She seems really nice, just make sure you get billing details before you start.
