Apparently the only services they offer are pep talks and words of encouragement. They have told me they have no psychiatrist and are unable to offer any diagnoses or medication. You'd probably be better off talking to a friend or family at this point. People here don't seem to qualified to do anything of use. I understand workdays can be hard, but whoever spoke to me on the phone did not sound like she wanted to deal with people. I felt like I was bothering them by inquiring about my appointment date. If you don't like the job, do something else. Some people genuinely need this help, like myself. Will update after my appointment.
Was seen by a psychiatrist for a psychological evaluation. Felt mocked as I came in as a female adult with the concern of having grown up with potential neurodivergencies and may as well have been laughed at. I even remember her going "I'm bet you feel there's a void there now don't you? Aww." After she asked me two questions about my childhood which I can't answer, since I don't remember because my childhood was pretty traumatizing (nowhere on my file does it say PTSD even though I poured my traumatic childhood to this woma... read more
