Very shabby service for my side by side Kenmore refrigerator that cold water stop in February. The technician came out 3 times within the 180 days to address the same non-flowing of cold water. To get the problem fix I must pay another $100. Sears/Transformco is a daylight rip off entity.
This company is a scam! They are both sears repair and sears.com. I ordered a tool set Jan. 9, 2023. All I really wanted was the case because my husbands niece let her kids walk on our case and break it.. It was a 165 piece craftsman fathers day special so you can't buy a new case. I ordered one they billed me for two separate orders and sent two. All I want to do is return one and get a refund. Have not been able to talk to anyone. My elderly mother was charged $140.00 for a service tech to come out and take a look at her Kenmore Washing machine. He spent a short time there to tell her that it was not worth repairing. She sent off the check for the tech vist. Sometime had passed and she received a letter stating that they never received the first check. She sent another check in a certified letter which was cashed. CANCELED 9 APPOINTMENTS ON ME.. SO THAT MEANS 5 DAYS OFF OF WORK WAITING FOR SEARS. THE SECOND TECH THAT CAME SAID HE DOES NOT HAVE THE TOOLS TO DO THE INSTALL. SECOND APT THEY SENT THE SAME TECH COULD NOT DO THE INSTALL. THE REST OF THE 3 APPOINTMENTS THEY CANCELED AT 5:15PM ON A TEXT MESSAGE AND GAVE ME ANOTHER APPOINTMENT. I want to write this review to help others know that in Wheeling, WV, Martins Ferry, OH. This area has not been good for Repairs. We started our claim in the last week of July 2025. The service man made it quickly to the house on time to see what was wrong. When it comes to returning to make the repairs, the service man has not returned to repair the unit. we keep being asked to reschedule. We have done this now 5 or 6 times.
