I have had a sears protection agreement for the past 20 yrs on my washer. Sears recently changed their chat and phone service to AI only. You can no longer talk to a person esp when problems arise and AI is not capable of solving issues. I know many companies use AI for scheduling but they also have options to talk to a human and sears repair and protection agreement dept lacks that.
TRANSFORMCO owns Sears PartsDirect. I ordered a part on 12.15.2025 with delivery scheduled for 12.26.2025. I was told at the time with Ramon on chat that the part was in stock. It is now 2.5.2026 and I do not have the part nor can I speak with a real person to get a refund. I have repeatedly ask for a refund and NOTHING. I get told it will be refunded and NOTHING!!. You cannot get a real person. I did research and found out Transformco owns Sears PartsDIrect.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This company operates under multiple names and it is confusing to the consumer by design. It took 3 months and at least 5 calls to customer service to get a claim processed and approved for a MICROWAVE. When the approval email finally came, they informed me that they were only working with Samsung appliances and would not offer anything else. As a Sears Home Warranty customer for several years now I now understand how useless your home appliance warranty service is. I have been waiting now for 6 weeks to find out if the technician who came out to repair my dishwasher orders your part there is no guarantee the part is in stock or even being made anymore.
