If there were ZERO stars or negative stars, Transformco, AKA Sears Repair, would be a prime candidate for a NEVER EVER USE rating. They charged us more than $300 for a $16 part they ordered from Amazon and had delivered to our home (so, I know the cost). Then, they failed to show up to replace the part after we waited "between 8-5." There was no communication; they simply didn't show. For the love of God , do not, I repeat do not use this company. While attempting to correct a leaking washer machine valve, the technician cracked the drain tub underneath the washer. He very confidently told me to call the phone number I used to make the service request and reassured me they would send someone to replace the drain tub. No response to my many attempts to reach a live customer service representative. It is a vicious cycle going nowhere. This is the most fraudulent company with which I have ever dealt. The AI or they call themselves virtual assistants are useless in offering any valid information. It took 4 months for the washer to be replaced only to break down not even 1 year later. The replacement washer had a bad board which evidently happened to multiple appliances that were purchased in those last 2 years. Now I am waiting for my oven to be repaired. I have had a sears protection agreement for the past 20 yrs on my washer. Sears recently changed their chat and phone service to AI only. You can no longer talk to a person esp when problems arise and AI is not capable of solving issues. I know many companies use AI for scheduling but they also have options to talk to a human and sears repair and protection agreement dept lacks that.
TRANSFORMCO owns Sears PartsDirect. I ordered a part on 12.15.2025 with delivery scheduled for 12.26.2025. I was told at the time with Ramon on chat that the part was in stock. It is now 2.5.2026 and I do not have the part nor can I speak with a real person to get a refund. I have repeatedly ask for a refund and NOTHING. I get told it will be refunded and NOTHING!!. You cannot get a real person. I did research and found out Transformco owns Sears PartsDIrect.
