Never in my life have I experienced a phone call like this. The owner gave me a call and asked if it was Cayley I said yes then proceeded to ask me if I was a man or woman. I told him I was a woman and he blatantly flat out told me this is no work place for woman we want men only. Not only do I have ample experience in the electrical work field but I have never come across someone so prejudice and discriminating. Trans Canada transformers, in a word, is treacherous. I have been working at Trans Canada Transformers for four months and have never experienced the disrespect and demeaning behavior of the owner. After 30 years of doing sheet metal and fabrication work. I had multiple job opportunities and learning experiences working within the United States and Canada.
