We contacted several contractors for the composite deck project. It was hard to hire and demand was high. Most of contractors we contacted only quote through Emails or Text, Transblue Sudbury was the only one visited us before the quote. Ken, the project manager sketched out the plan in a day, inquired details on-site before sending us the quote.The project was followed through, quality was good, deck is beautiful. We are able to enjoy a brand new deck in the fall!
We have tried to work with this company for a year now. They came up with an estimate of the cost of the project, but then we were informed that the person who gave us the estimate that was not reliable and was fired. However, we signed that contract. Eventually, after 2 more "estimates" (even though the project plans were not changed and the original estimate was at the peak of the COVID increases - they eventually re-estimated it at around $50,000 more ). Though I was not able to proceed with the proposed project, I was very pleased with the informed, knowledgeable, and very helpful insights about the planned porch renovation project I had been looking at. Austin and Khang were extremely patient and willing to answer all my questions. They even went out of their way to find ways that I could save on materials. We had a bluestone patio installed with granite steps to the house. They also subcontracted the install of a gas line to connect our grill and firepit as well as installing an electrical hookup for a hot tub. The end product is beautiful and we are very happy with it. There were some issues during install that we had to point out and they did fix them, but we feel like we shouldn't have had to keep pointing out the issues. Beyond the great work performed, Transblue couldn't have been easier to deal with. They provided honest and transparent quotes, got the work done in a timely manner, and were responsive to any changes or questions we had along the way. I would highly recommend for any landscaping projects you have.
