This is absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. We have been trying to collect on as annuity that was left to my mother in law. Her sister who passed away left her the policy. They claim they need a death certificate with a SS on it which doesn’t exist. The state of Vermont where her sister died doesn’t put SS on death certificates. cant get any answers from this company. been getting the run around for over two month. information on my policy. for over two month all they can say is its in the mail. this company should be looked into by the federal government.
Trans America is the wirst at customer service and claims. I’m afraid they have defrauded my father insurance policy. Some one took money out of policy can’t get any information after calling all day my husband is ready to have a heart attack.
Trying to get my 401K rolled over to new account since 11/28/24 and over six weeks have gone by, without resolution. If you are having issues I recommend leaving not only reviews but reaching out to the better business bureau as well. Also researching what other government agencies may be involved with a company like this, as they are sitting on my money and it's not earning interest. I would not choose to use this company again due to how they have handled my rollover.
