Poor communication around changes in needed documents (none); rude employee interaction in customer service; inconsistent website experience. Have been able to get what I need historically, but with more hassle and rudeness than I would have preferred recently. TBD if I will be able to get what I need; it won't be in a timely manner at this point regardless.

**Worst experience I have ever had dealing with a company when it comes to a claim and documentation.** The amount of runaround I have experienced with Transamerica has been unbelievable. Following up on paperwork has been extremely frustrating, and there have been repeated issues with documentation being received, properly noted, and communicated. This is absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. We have been trying to collect on as annuity that was left to my mother in law. Her sister who passed away left her the policy. They claim they need a death certificate with a SS on it which doesn’t exist. The state of Vermont where her sister died doesn’t put SS on death certificates.
