My Grandmother had a life insurance policy with Transamerica for many years. She passed away on January 19, 2018 from a long battle with Alzheimer's. Here I am in 2024 and they are still fighting the small amount owed to me and my brother. Do not do business with Transamerica!
My father died 2 months ago and had a life insurance policy with Transamerica... The company says they need 10 to 15 business days to process an insurance claim after they receive all the paperwork. Well I started the insurance claim on July 8th and with the funeral home dragging their feet Transamerica received all of the paperwork at the end of July. THIS IS THE WORSE COMPANY EVER
Long time customer. Zero luck in making contact to change payment method. I have tried calling several times only to be forced to leave a voice message. Never once have I received a call back. Emails do not work either. Thinking if its this hard to give my money, then it must be harder to get paid should I actually have a claim. I have lost all trust in this company and have started shopping elsewhere.
Very poor agency. I was sold a term life policy, while requesting a whole life. I reached out to corporate as well as to the office locally and requested a meeting to talk about converting it when I reviewed the policy and found it was not an "investment" account. I would not recommend doing business with this agency. The office is still indicating they are closed to the public due to Covid...
