I let you be the judge. This man (Maddox) charged me over seven hundred dollars to take my transmission apart to tell me what he already knew was wrong with it. It would have cost me almost $4000.00 to fix the transmission for which the truck wasn't worth that so I decided not to fix it and traded it in as is. When I tried to get him to show me a little mercy because of the situation he told me "that was my problem and not his". Sounds like he really "cares about his customers". I recommend this shop to anyone who needs automotive transmission services. They repaired my transmission in a reasonable amount of time & it didn't cost me an arm & a leg! They treated me like family & gave me a great warranty!Their technicians are so nice.
SERVING S.E ALABAMA SINCE 1957 – I have never been treated as well as I have at any automotive facility as I was at Trans-Pro. Gary, the owner, treated me so well and was very, very honest with me. Not trying to sell repairs that I did not need, just told me the facts. I trust him to work on all my vehicles. I have referred all my friends and family to him. You want someone honest and does great work, this is one.
When I went to my regular mechanics shop they told me I needed a transmission overhaul. They recommended Trans-Pro.They did a free scan to let me know what was going on with my car. Well, it turns out that I had a engine misfire and my transmission was fine. Thank you Mr.Maddox for being so honest and not taking advantage me since I'm a single mom. Trans-Pro Transmission is the best out there!

I have never met such a nice group of automotive repair personnel as the people at Trans-Pro. My wife and I were coming back from Florida on Sunday Aug 5 when our car suddenly quit moving. I called Trans-Pro and left a voice message and within 20 minutes Gary returned my call. Gary had our car towed in and took us to a hotel. Monday afternoon my car was repaired and delivered to us . Dothan's best Transmission parts and service – I was passing through town and was having problems with my transmission. I took it to Trans-Pro and they were very helpful and got right to work on my car. They only charged me 25.00 to repair my car I recommend them to everyone I know.
This guy will certainly rip you off as he has done to so many in Enterprise and Dothan. It's not a mistake he knows what how to do it, he is the type you see on 60 minutes! Stay away!
Wouldn't send a friend there – Not happy.....they "repaired" my transmission and 8 months (2 months after their "parts only" warranty ran out) later it went out again....I'm not saying you can't trust them to do a good job...I'm just saying I won't.
