RecommendedBeen doing business with with Trans Medic for over 25 years. They do great work and when/if there is a problem they take care of it. Won’t go anywhere else.
I got referred to come here by another company that can't work on transmissions.. my car was making a weird noise so I wanted to get it looked at as I know NOTHING about cars other than the noise was not normal. Made an appointment, the guy test drove it and brought it in to find out my bolts on my clutch had become loose and he tightened them for me. Thought I was leaking trans fluid so I dropped my truck off Friday night and they said they would look at it Sat morning. It ended up being a coolant leak which my truck uses Red coolant. They only do work that is trans related but there was no charge on the diagnosis. That’s a reputable company in my book. My problem wasn’t solved but appreciate the fact I wasn’t charged to look at the truck.
Losing all gears is never fun, finding out it's the internal linkage is even less fun, but Transmedic in Windham made sure not to add any more stress to the situation. Now she shifts nice and smooth with no "new surprises."
Don't be fooled by these people, they don't back up there work!
******avoid this business at all costs****** Trains-medic is forcing me to eat $800 on a misdiagnosed transmission repair. Do not believe all the positive reviews you read about this place. This company has changed drastically over the last couple years. The customer service is a joke and I was treated extremely poorly.
