I had my 2014 Chevy at a few different shops before bringing it to Lake Sumpter Transmissions. They figured out it was a couple of different issues mechanical/electrical/programming. They barely had the truck a week to remove,rebuild and re-install the transmission,new torque converter and programmed it. And they came in under quote. The best part is they got all of the repairs financed for me. I would recommend Lake Sumpter Transmission to anyone who want the job done right. (The first time.)

Awesome Job in a timely manner. Would not let a second hand part be installed. It was no easy job but it came back right when other Garages wasted my time as well as towing just to tell me they couldn't do the job. Thanks to Chris I told him over the phone what my issue was to which he said to get it there and he would have an answer by noon. I got it at 11:30. He also helped me with towing and worked with me on the estimate. I'm so thankful to have a new mechanic who is reliable and compassionate.

Unfortunately, my experience was not the best. I went in for an estimate on my Toyota truck and was informed that the diagnostic would cost $150 (which I had no problem paying). After handing my keys to the lady at the front desk, I asked how much it would cost to replace the entire transmission instead of repairing it. The truck has 250,000 miles, but the engine runs great and has never had any issues—only the transmission. At that point, the owner/manager asked me, "What is it worth to you?"
