My wife and I pulled a trailer from the midwest all the way to Ocala. Upon entering the City, the transmission went out. We were in a very tight spot with time as both of us needed to get home for work. Chris and his team were willing to see us immediately. Our transmission was heavily damaged due it the high mileage on the vehicle and the past twenty hours of pulling the trailer. I took my vehicle in there to be looked at. Unfortunately it was not repairable. Chris was honest with me and hated breaking the news to me. I took another vehicle in there today for some issues I was having with it. He said what he thought it sounded like and gave me a rough quote on what the total price would be. He was very close. When I first came to Transmax I didn't have much faith in auto repair shops. We are conditioned to not trust each other and certainly not mechanics because there are soooo many shady businesses out there charging you for things you dont need. Helped me save a kitten stuck in my car frame! They were kind enough to put my car on the lift and a bunch of mechanics and the owner came to help getting it out of a tough spot. Top notch genuine people. I will send anyone needing auto repairs here; they do much more than transmissions! They save kittens 😂
