We live in Red Lion Pa and our Trans went. I called our mechanic from Delco ( Dave at Dyers Auto) who referred a shop out that way in Eddystone ( Transman) Tony. I calIed Tony and gave him the lowdown on the vehicle and within a day he had arranged towing and arranged for a used transmission to be delivered from NJ and gave me a price of 3900 which included the trans the shipping and labor as well as fluid and tax ( Did not include the tow). Tony is the best I was sent to him from another shop Eric's, and he was nothing but professional, helpful, and was able to diagnose the problem off of pure knowledge and skill. I was very impressed with the time he spent with me, his attentiveness, and skills are on point. He was honest and has integrity. I didnt need a transmission I needed a $20.00 part off Amazon. Took my car in February of 2024. I asked for a throwout bearing and possibly a clutch if needed. Found out my car had the wrong transmission. 2012 scion tc that had the 2010 tranny in it from the generation prior. He'd offered (very kindly, I'd add) to replace my worn looking axle for the cost of the part alone as he'd have to manipulate it anyway. I accepted. Have been using these guys for 20+ years... great family, incredible work, and prompt service!! Never an issue with these guys!
My car is currently en route to this shop and I already feel taken care of. Tony called me back on a Sunday evening to ask what was going on and that he could see me Monday morning for a diagnosis. I could clearly hear a family in the background, and I was shocked to have someone take time out of their family time to provide customer service. The communication has been wonderful and I look forward to seeing their diagnosis.
