On April 17th, I celebrated 13 years of sobriety. Thirteen years ago this month, I was overwhelmed, struggling with addiction, a high-pressure career, and family life. I turned to Tranquil Shores for help. The 90-day program, the counselors, the groups, medical staff, and culture were simply amazing! I went to rehab while facing drug charges. First was Hazelden/Betty Ford. After five weeks, they wrote a letter to the judge on my case that said, “Sam has emotional issues that we are unequipped to deal with.” I transferred to a second dual diagnosis treatment center that was, similarly, unable to help me. Quite a few of these reviews are by employees. Thus, the rating is higher than it should be. I believe Tranquil Shores is overpriced and ineffective. I would advise going elsewhere.
