My wife and I spent a couple days here for a little get away for our anniversary in October 2023. We met the owners at their home and had to drive about 6 miles to the cabin. The cabin needs some updating but was cozy. It had tv and internet and all you would need for your stay. You have to drive about 18 miles one way to get food or entertainment. Better read your rental contract because they will charge you $30.00 if you don't take your sheets and towels and leave them at the door. Since I have never had to do this at any ... read more

Great vacation spot close to the lake
My friends and I decided we wanted a girl's weekend and tranquil oaks became our destination. We headed out to the cabin around mid-fall the 3 of us were greeted by Angela and we knew immediately we were where we needed to be. She gave us a tour of the ranch and we got see and meet the many rescue animals on the ranch. All 3 of us being rescuer's ourselves, she had our heart's. The cabin was beautiful. We felt at home.
