Went to get a second opinion at tranny tech, for my 2004 Ford F150 with 168,000 miles.I was told at another transmission shop, that the converter was probably damaged and I should do a complete transmission rebuild. I spoke to Ivan, one of the shop owners. Ivan took my truck on a test drive. After driving the truck several miles, Ivan told me that it was not the converter or anything related to the transmission. Recommended to replace my '07 Hummer H3 transmission by Lazaro from JMori Painting. The service was awesome. Transmission did have an overflow, in which they quickly took a look and physically showed me the problem. They fully explained what to do. I'm very pleased I would definitely come back if needed.
Awesome!!! I took my 1987 Grand National to Tranny Tech because my transmission was slipping in 2nd and 3rd. Please understand that this car is my pride and joy and the only reason I drove from Coral Springs to Hialeah was that Tranny Tech was highly recommended by my normal mechanic. I've been doing business with these guys for a while now but just recently had to get the tranny on my dully rebuilt. These guys under promised and over delivered. Not only was the price fair but the truck performs exactly as they promised. They can build any kind of transmission and make it work exactly like they say it will. Wether you deal with Ivan or Frank(brothers)they will both treat you fairly and stand behind their products and services.
