Had my Mazda transmission remanufactured here. Its been over 2 years & the transmission is still doing great.
Worst experience of my life. Not only do they not fix my transmission but they broke my radiator, which had just recently been replaced, in the process and I had to pay for it, because "It wasn't their fault." They worked on my transmission twice promised me that it would be better than what they took out and every time it hit 35 to 45 miles an hour it vibrated I spent $3,000, went 2 weeks without a car having three children it was the most stressful experience I've ever had. I had the transmission for a 2001 Honda Civic EX remanufactured at Tranco, and it took less than 2 days of labor. They offered me a 1 year, 10,000 mile parts and labor warranty, for no additional cost. As I understand it, this is standard fair at Tranco. There are cheaper shops in Blount County. But I don't feel that Tranco is overpriced at all. Especially for service that you get from the staff there.
