I purchased a six piece set of their pots and pans with the expectation that any issues would be covered under their lifetime warranty. After a few uses, 3 of the pots have coating that is flaking off. When contacting their warranty department, we sent all of the pictures as requested that shows the products are in great shape except the coating is flaking off. They asked for extra photos which I sent only be told that the coating, which is part of the product, isn’t covered. Shame on them. False advertisement.
Please Don't waste your money on Tramontina. Made in China. I am underwhelmed with the customer less support. loose handles, and peeling non stick surfaces. (Not safe for human consumption) "lifetime warranty" not worth the paper it was written on.
While the cookware cooks well, it is not cast iron. Before I could get the top of one piece out of the box the enamel chipped. Then, I dropped my pot ,it actually fell, and the enamel broke all the way from the outside to the inside. Is these normal? I own several cast iron and enameled pots and an occasional drop has never caused this type of damage and left the pot unusable. I purchased a Tramontina Inox 13-gallon step trash can about a year ago, and what a disappointment. The design is beautiful and it fit perfectly in my kitchen, but less than six months later stain spots started appearing all over the stainless steel surface. This trash can is kept indoors, cleaned regularly, and never misused — yet it still deteriorated quickly.
