This place is awesome! I'm surprised that more people don't come here
Wonderful place to go workout!! CLEAN and designed perfectly for every level of fitness. The staff is attentive-- with knowledge based advice. The coaches will run over to correct your form !! I have avoided injury that otherwise would have me in "recovery" for weeks:) My family loves Training Ground and Orange Park Crossfit.
The daycare is always hot!!!!! If there is an air conditioner you can't feel it! It has a fan mounted to the wall circulating hot air with the door shut. The kid to adult ratio is way off! Too many kids in the afternoon! When I Would pick my child up she would have a layer of dirt and fuzz on her feet and knees. It was discussing. The staff and workout equipment was excellent, but the daycare is awful. You can find nice workout equipment anywhere, but not daycare.
It typical meat head gym, more ego stroking then people actually getting stronger,faster , better. I went to this gym cause I they have some toys I like play with sled, chains, blocks oh my. I asked about safety bars they said they had it on there olpymic stands. They don't, how do you have a gym with out safety equipment! Oh when I ask about clause in contract about moving certain distance they look at me dumb founded. They just opened, but from what I can tell, they went all out on this place. The facility is brand new and is very tastefully designed. Their equipment is high end and the employees are super friendly. They specialize in Cross-Fit, which I hope to transition into, especially because it looks like a lot of fun - much better than your typical workout.
