Got stranded in Trinidad, was a blessing finding this lil gem near by, definitely will visit again, when im not stranded!
I stayed a week,they have a beautiful deck that has a awesome view,you can walk to liquor store, restaurant,gas station, really clean and pet friendly and cheaper to I will be back for sure
Very nice motel near the Santa Fe trail. They're cabin like rooms with plenty of space and a fridge and microwave. The TV was well functioning. The bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly. It is in a very good location. Off the main Street of the town of Trinidad with some nice restaurants and bars around.
I stayed here for one night (March 2026) while traveling through Trinidad and woke up with multiple bites consistent with bed bugs. I reported the issue to the owner, who acknowledged the concern and initially agreed to a refund. However, he later refused to issue the refund unless I provided my credit card information directly, which I was not comfortable doing. I have since had to dispute the charge through my bank. I recommend that future guests inspect rooms carefully and consider alternative accommodations.
