Honestly a very confusing experience. Food: - my wife loved the enormous Spicy Poke bowl, which was the star of the show - The Brussels sprouts and Mac and cheese were both mundane and drastically overpriced - Smoothies and coffee were both good - They were out of a lot of items Vibe: - Felt like it was trying to do too much. 4 huge TVs were a distraction for our child in the main room where a guy was constantly asking for channel changes. - Outdoor seating was nice, but you’re in a strip mall parking lot.
Went in here around 6pm for a coffee and the cashier said "we put all of the coffee away" so she couldn't make coffee. I didn't really understand why she couldn't just go get the coffee that she put away to make some other than just pure laziness, but hey, I guess that's the service industry these days.
I was surprised by how good the food was. I will return when I'm in the area.
We peddled on over to Trailhead for lunch. The pulled pork sandwich hit the spot and washed it down with a refreshing lemonade. The BLT on focaccia bread had a bit too much bread, good amount of bacon but needed maybe a bit more of the lettuce and tomatoes. Slaw was a bit tart for my liking. It’s a great spot to come to after a hike, bike ride or workout. Nice view and people watching.
