I recently visited the front desk at this U-haul location and was disappointed with the level of professionalism displayed by the staff. One of the employees was on the phone while assisting me, which I found quite unprofessional. When I addressed this issue, both the employee and the manager responded rudely and began arguing with me. This experience was far from satisfactory, and I hope that steps are taken to improve customer service in the future.
I drove 30 minutes for an 8am appointment, and the person at the register was rude to me stating that I did not have an appointment for that day. I insisted that I was scheduled for that morning, and then she looked it up and I was correct. At that point she said that the hitch person was not there that day and said to come back another day. All I got was a "sorry for the inconvenience." I appreciate the apology but that does not make up for not keeping to your word to be present for the appointment.
