Online scheduling was the only positive here. There was a terrible rattle of the muffler after I picked the car up. Had a regularly scheduled service appointment at dealer next morning and they found that 1. the heat shield was not reattached and 2. four pins helping to hold on the rear bumper were missing. Took it back to Uhaul (could not get anyone on the phone). Manager asked me to come back again the next day when hitch mechanic was there. Excellent. Easy to schedule, and the work was completed early than expected.
This is a company owned U-Haul, and they have indoor and outdoor storage in site. The facility is fine, but the young guy who identified himself as the manager was difficult and obstinate. I went there to rent a small trailer in an urgent situation. The towing vehicle was a 2019 super duty Ford. The gentleman insisted on connecting the trailer, which I understand is their policy so, fair enough, even though I have connected 100s of Uhaul trailers to various vehicles since working at one in my college years.
