We, my husband and I, spent 5 nights at this hotel in the Highlands. It was our first time visiting Highlands and our first time at this hotel. We were pleased with the service, room, and location. The room was sizable with plenty of storage. I particularly enjoyed the in-room Fellows kettle. Not enough hotel rooms in the US have kettles in the room. Extraordinary! As an artist in residence, I was so grateful for such an easy place and nurturing space with extraordinary staff - every single person! There is such a peacefulness there you can walk to anywhere in town, yet you’re just a little bit out of the middle so you have this ease of sanctuary. The restaurant is excellent! I can’t wait to return.
We drove up from Atlanta for a one night stay for my husband’s birthday and it was the perfect choice. The hotel staff are incredibly helpful and kind. The hotel is beautiful and so cozy - definitely a place you want to hang out in, rather than just a place to sleep. We had a king room with fireplace and it was beautiful, super clean and so comfortable. They really go above and beyond with amenities here. But our favorite part was definitely the Nordic spa. Very cozy and relaxing space. The staff is super nice, helped us with so many things like starting the fire and giving local recommendations. Had a really nice time!
