Easy 5 Stars. Short walk to the main strip of downtown Highlands. The rooms and hotel decor were high quality with a great retro feel. Staff were great. They had live music and a great outdoor seating area with a fire pit and games. Great value. Would absolutely stay here again.
This was an amazing stay!!! Where to begin? The rooms are so cute and cozy but it truly is the “experience” of this place. I rate it as my favorite stay ever because of the people! The staff; Bull, Kaylee, Maranda, Cassie, Isabelle, Jen, Mike, Mary and John, thanks for making the stay blissful! The high score is based mostly on the location which is out of the center of town where things are very busy during the day but close enough to be convenient. Our experience here started off badly as we were kept waiting almost 2 hours past the promised check-in time because the room was not ready. The desk staff seemed new and not very competent. My husband and I stayed at the hotel a couple weeks ago, and I can’t wait to go back. Our room was great - it could use a comfy chair in addition to the desk chair as well as a few more hooks/bars to hang towels in the bathroom. We enjoyed the large public room and played cards one night. Drinking our coffee with the banana bread (?) outside on the deck was delightful….in spite of the rain. It’s a beautiful campus.
