Had a great time from 1991 through 1995 when I graduated from there. Many great lessons where learned and friends that became family to this day. Thank you for the building blocks of life that were presented with such personal education.
Both our daughters went to Trafton, then on to Carnegie Vanguard, and college. We were particularly impressed with the academic preparation in writing and math. My youngest (U.T.-Austin) just told me on the phone last night how she is using the method Trafton taught her to write a research paper. Professors at Agnes Scott, Brown, & U.T.-Austin have consistently complimented them on their writing - something of a lost art in most schools. We moved our son to Trafton in 5th grade and were so impressed by the academics that we moved our 2 daughters over a year later. Trafton keeps its class size small so that teachers can give students individualized attention as needed. Trafton also excels in teaching organization and study skills. Three of my kids went to Trafton. They were all well prepared for High School. They liked the smaller environment and the personal care they received. Trafton is warm and caring. We still keep in touch with many of the teachers. A hidden gem among private schools n Houston
This has been the best experience for my boys! I first looked at Trafton as a middle school choice in case we didn't do well in the HISD lottery system. Although we got into our top choice, Trafton was our favorite by far! The classes are small, and it is amazing as to how much information is covered when the classes are smaller.
