We loved visiting this real live working dairy farm! As a homeschool family we enjoyed exploring the farm itself. As foodies... we enjoyed the yummy cheeses and ice cream! And as a photographer I appreciated the beauty of the land and buildings!
Lunch service was terrible. It took 2 of us over an hour and a half to get our food. We ended up cancelling our dessert when we were told after an hour and a half that the dessert was still baking. Our waitress curtly told us that everything on the menu is freshly baked and that “good food takes time”. It’s a lovely setting but prices are very high for what you get and service is sadly lacking.
I enjoyed learning about the creamery and milking process during our tour. Miss. Brynn was attentive to details; friendly, patient, and knowledgeable about the entire process. We started out in the farmer's garden where all of their produce is grown on the premises organically. We met two cute calves named Hildebrand and Mango, who were just chilling in the barn. What a wonderful place for a weekend brunch. So unique, and food is great. Never skip the ice cream, it’s a dairy farm!! Reservations recommended.
