excellent selection of wines under $10 – Trader Joe's Charles Shaw merlot actually tastes good and it's only $3/bottle. it doesn't compare to $20+ bottles of wine but it's good for everyday drinking. Also best to stick to the Charles Shaw reds, apparently the whites are no good and neither is the beajolais. Popular brands Robert Mondavi and Beringer retail for $9 at Trader Joe's. Great Experience, Poor Quality Products – We stumbled upon Traders Joes during the week after a ramble in Union Square and decided to find out what everyone has been raving about. We were not disappointed - the produce on offer was excellent value and I was surprised everytime I picked something up that it cost less then what I pay at my local supermarket in LIC.
