Until TJ's management addresses the issue of cashiers who make unacceptable commentary on who should support women, black women or anyone else...I can't recommend shopping this location. This is unacceptable!

I wish I could put no stars. I was just informed that a black women who was shopping in your store today had on a shirt that read "Stand With Black Women" and was told by her cashier that it was not right for her to wear that shirt. I really hate that I will not be shopping at Trader Joe's anymore because of this. You have a problem when employees can address shoppers in such a discriminating manner. #dobetter

The cashier racially profiled my friend— said that her pro-Black Women shirt was not allowed in the store. The manager didn't seem to care. Racist or misogynistic or both? Shame on you, Trader Joe's. PS: Your parking lot is terrible.

A cashier treating a friend in a hostile manner because she is wearing a “Stand with Black Women” shirt is not acceptable. She was told she could not wear her shirt in the store. Seriously? She has every right to wear that shirt and any other she chooses. You have lost my business.

A friend of mine was verbally harassed by a cashier for wearing a "Stand With Black Women" shirt while attempting to purchase her goods. She was told by the manager that action would be taken against this cashier to ensure a safe shopping environment for all patrons regardless of their attire or race. I am truly disappointed and will be letting corporate know about this encounter and demand mandatory cultural competency training for all employees.

Treat Black people with the respect they deserve and do not ever enable an associate to question a Black Woman's shirt message. And management should fix it immediately on the spot when brought to your attention. Shameful.

Unacceptable! I was informed that one of your cashiers confronted a woman wearing a "stand with black women" shirt in a discriminating and disrespectful manner. My friends and I will no longer shop at this store. This needs to be addressed immediately with the entire staff and appropriate action must be taken!

You cannot allow your employees to call out black women for their attire, not apologize and not make it right. No one, but especially black women, needs to explain the message on their shirt to your associate. I will not be shopping here.

Racism anywhere is unacceptable. That an employee felt justified in telling a woman she couldn't wear a Stand With Black Women shirt is beyond unacceptable. You've lost my patronage.
