Terrible rental experience. Picked up the truck and was told “check engine light is on, no big deal”. Then after driving away noticed the warming to not shut down the vehicle and a battery caution. Tried to call but already no one in office and no other call back numbers. Left multiple messages with no reply. Had to leave it running while loading, unloading etc… also the vehicle was a mess. Smelly, dirty… come on Budget Truck Rental, I expect better.
Made a reservation for picking up a budget van at 11:30 am. Came to pick it up, office was locked, no answer on phone. Cancelled the reservation due to poor service.
