Shipping & Receiving Team were a pleasure to deal with today. Local Hotshot Trucking Service here. I’m fussy with placement & load distribution. I gave this company over twelve years of loyalty, only to learn I’d been severely underpaid compared to male coworkers — and then to be terminated in the parking lot with police present. For a long time, I believed I was happy working there, but by February 2023 that feeling was gone. I asked management for a sabbatical because of low pay and lack of recognition, respect, and growth.
