I went to Dr Heisler for a hemorrhoid consult. During the exam, there was no nurse in the room and she never covered me and without warning she began to perform a banding. It was extremely painful and I didn't even know what she was doing. When she was done she said there would be paperwork for me with the nurse and left. Come to find out the procedure recommends bed rest for 2-3 days after. She never asked me if I wanted the procedure or if I could even rest following it.
