About this business

My grandmother lived with us when I was growing up. She had a lot of medical issues including breast cancer, dementia and diabetes. As both of my parents worked, I ended up being the one who took care of her, bathing her, giving her insulin, etc. I learned the humility of being a care giver and the vulnerability of being the patient. I was her patient when she was in Greensboro NC. I was having alot of problems and she explained to me I had "100 year old uterus" and that's why I couldn't conceive and having problems. I hated to see her go, she told it like it was. I still she'd a tear when I think of her. May God bless

The triage nurse for Dr. Lathrop could use some customer service skills. I received Lab results via MyChart before a doctor even looked at them. I called to inquire who would be reading the results, but I could never get one whole question out before the nurse provided excuses. She insisted on talking over me. A little kindness goes a long way when dealing with a patient dealing with unknown and confusing lab results that should probably not be released before a doctor reviews them.
