Not only did she not want to help me come up with a plan to treat my diabetes but the only thing she did was send for a psych evaluation when I specifically said I'm off of my medication and do not wish to start medication again. Not at any point did I give concerning mental health info I actually told her this is the best I've been. I had my first appointment a couple of days ago. The clinic is packed with about a 2 hour wait even if you have an appointment- I don't understand the point of having an appointment at a given time if you have to wait 2 hours. This would be more likely to happen as a "walk in". The issues I have and that I reported to the nurse where not passed in full with the PCP or the PCP did not read all the notes that I provided to the nurse, and therefore not all issues were addressed at that visit.
