He is a massive rip off artist.
Business feel and feels like a selling clinic.
He does not listen. In my case his comments about my lab results were incorrect and off base. Terrible bed-side manner. Rushed and inconsiderate. I will not ise him as a doctor nor recommend him.
Ive had a chronic UTI for 9 months at the time of this visit that has not gone away. I had to interrupt him to even get the seriousness of my situation across. He told me that since I'm a girl, young and sexually active that this is normal. He prescribed me a longer dose of an antibiotic that already did not work for me. The whole visit was rushed and did not help at all. It has only gotten worse and I didn't want to go back because of the way he treated me so I have a new urologist now. I have been a patient of Dr Gapin for several years and have always found him to be an excellent listener, always explaining what he is doing and prescribing. I never feel rushed during my appointments or in discussing any health problem with him.
Dr. Gapin is an excellent urologist, knowledgeable and experienced in all forms of treatment for prostate cancer. After consulting with Dr. Gapin, I chose radical prostatectomy, and Dr. Gapin prepared me well for the surgery. The robotic surgery he performed was much better than I anticipated and my post-op care and follow up were outstanding! I would recommend him to anyone for prostate cancer treatment and care!
Dr. Gapin is treating both myself and my wife. He is an excellent tend setting physician who actually sincerely cares about his patients. He has been our urology Dr, for one or both of us for over 10 years. He found prostate cancer in me early which got me into radiation early before the cancer spread. He found that my wife had a tubal blockage between her right kidney and bladder, which the Moffitt Dr's said was probably from her first cancer surgery. I absolutely LOVE Dr. Gapin! I first met him with my dad having issues. Dr Gapin always took time to explain everything. Dad has been gone for six years due to another issue unrelated to Dr Gapin. This past December, my husband had an issue...Dr Gapin always honest with him and took extra time to call me when I could not be present for him to explain all. He did not have to do this as my husband is young with no memory issues at all. We are at the end of this journey and doing well now! So thankful for him!! Highly recommend... read more
