I had the misfortune of needing just the valve stem on a tubeless tire replaced. I made the mistake of taking the tire to Trace Automotive in Lowell. When I told the employee all it needed was the tubeless tire stem replaced .the employee commented if that’s all is needed It’ll be about a five minute job. He was right. When I went to pay, I was advised that the charges would be $37.65. I was charged $33 for a tire repair and $4.65 for the stem. Think twice about taking a tire repair job to Trace automotive.
Trace painted my truck and the day we got it back it was scratched so we took it back and were told by Trace his son scratched it washing it. He buffed it out but after that evey time the truck was washed it scratched more and more ..After multiple attempts to get Trace to resolve the problem all we got were excuses almost twenty to be exact. We finally took the truck to two other paint shops and a detailer and were told there was 0 - 3 mills of clear coat on parts of the truck Trace painted should be 4-8 mills, orange peel... read more
