The office staff is polite and professional, and the physicians overall appear knowledgeable. However, my experience with Dr. Gaglione raises concerns about how physical symptoms are handled when a patient has any mental health or neurodevelopmental history. When I first began seeing Dr. Gaglione, I would have said she was the best doctor I had seen in decades. She listened carefully, was knowledgeable, took time to explain things, and initially appeared genuinely empathetic. At that point, she did not feel dismissive, and I appreciated her focus on understanding the “whole picture” rather than just treating symptoms. Erin is phenomenal! This review is about the front desk/receptionist- they’re very disappointing to work with. They won’t answer messages, leave you on hold for 15+ mins, answer with an attitude (even my pharmacist has mentioned how rude they were). It’s disheartening because you’re calling for support and they act like you’re bothering them when you’re just trying to get information.
Dr. Gaglione is the best doctor I've had in thirty years. She listens, is knowledgeable, and shows genuine empathy to her patients while addressing their needs and concerns. I don't know if she's technically a trauma-informed provider. But she's the only physician I've ever had that hasn't contributed to my ptsd. She is NEVER dismissive.
