There are many places to rent tubes here in town but Chet’s place is the best. He explained the river and what to expect thoroughly. He went above and beyond and surprised us by taking a video of us going down the river. If you are going to rent a tube to float the river rent it here.

TPD was easy to find, just below the parking lot where you enter the river, and less expensive than some of the other options. We parked in the public parking across the street and it took about 15 minutes for him to explain how to float the river and check us out. We followed his recommendations on where to put in, seat assignments in the tubes, and things to watch out for. We were able to complete 4 round trips using the shuttle during a 2 hour rental with 4 young kids. The 4 person tube was "less fun" than a 2 person tube... read more

Stand up dude, operation, and real close to the water. Really patient with everyone. Even popped a tube (accidentally). Said "no worries, I can patch it, do you want another one to ride immediately". Really nice setup and convenient parking right up the street.
