Es wäre sicherlich toll gewesen aber aufgrund von Gewittern am Abend und der Nacht war das Wasser am nächsten Tag zu wild für eine Fahrt und wir konnten leider nicht mehr fahren. Das nächste Mal vllt.

We stumbled upon Lava Hot Springs on our way to Wyoming. After stopping at the hot springs then watching people float the river—it looked too fun to miss! On the way back to Idaho, we made a point to stop and float. TPD Tube was super friendly and very helpful getting us set up to float, the quad tubes were well cared with great service. Highly recommend- easy access to the river if you opt for no shuttle.

Chet at TPD tube rental was an awesome guy and made sure to thoroughly explain the do's and don'ts of tubing the Portneuf River. You can tell he definitely cares about the safety of his customers. Best in town !:)

There are many places to rent tubes here in town but Chet’s place is the best. He explained the river and what to expect thoroughly. He went above and beyond and surprised us by taking a video of us going down the river. If you are going to rent a tube to float the river rent it here.
