I no longer trust Haley Toyota. I’ll start with what Haley Toyota recommended as a $250 repair that ultimately became a $0 repair. Haley Toyota tested my battery and gave me a printout (picture attached) stating that it measured 493 CCA, even though the battery is rated at 640 CCA. Based on that result, they recommended replacing the battery and quoted me $250. Less than an hour later, I took my car to Valvoline, the company that sold me the battery. I have no idea how this place has ratings above 4. We always have a terrible experience with communication with them. Also, they blamed us for booking an appointment on the weekend when they don’t have their full staff. We dropped off the car at 8:30am and it wasn’t getting done at all today. Had to call to find out. Such an inconvenience. If you can help it, go somewhere else. We can’t wait for our ToyotaCare to be done…
On my very first service visit, they managed to overfill the engine with oil — arguably one of the most basic maintenance tasks imaginable. If a shop cannot get something this simple right, it seriously raises concerns about what happens with more complicated repairs. Everyone knows about the 3rd gen tundra engine issues. Unfortunately my 23 hybrid blew its bearing still under warranty. Brought to this Toyota service center. This service center was great with communication and trying to help get parts fast. It took exactly a month to get parts and rebuild. Also was due to holidays as well.
