Two stars because employee went to bat for me but you guys need to get your parts pricing figured out asap. How you think you can charge more than msrp, much more, double, is insane. Toyota sets msrp price and most dealers fight for business by offering up to 30% off. Not Toyota Santa Barbara. Instead they really like to rub in the cost of living in the area by charging twice MSRP!!! In the past they have been willing to price match, but this has varied from time to time. This is less of a review and more of warning: They charge you twice what a local mechanic would for the same service, if not more. I've gone here to get my car serviced 2 times and every time they charged $400. I came back the second time out of sheer convenience. These are routine checks on a car with less than 50k miles on it. Maybe I am mistaken, but it SEEMS to have changed from past years. It had a REALLY BAD reputation, but my experience was very positive. Had the battery and starter replaced (battery was 7 years old). They got the job done quickly, even though the starter had to come from Los Angeles, and they kept me posted completely on what was going on in terms of time. I'm really happy. They seemed really busy, so other people seemed to feel the way I did.
