I’ve taken my car in for an oil change here twice. Surprise surprise, there’s always so much more wrong with my car once they do their inspection. First time I went in, they said there was some kind of under carriage plate missing which they said they could replace for a couple of hundred dollars. Scam 🚨 I scheduled my 40,000-mile service through the Toyota app, and the price was clearly shown as $119. However, when I arrived at the dealership, the final bill was increased to $180. I was told that my car requires a more expensive oil, which was the reason for the higher charge. If my vehicle requires a specific type of oil, that pricing should be reflected accurately in the Toyota app at the time of booking. My wife went in for an oil change and some minor work. She needed tires, and they tried to push more expensive tires than what she wanted. After some negotiation, they agreed to price match to another tire dealer. She agreed and left the vehicle. Hours later they sent her the invoice which was hundreds of dollars more than she had agreed to. They had left off labor on the estimate.
