For a dealership you'd think the quality of work would at least match factory spec but it doesn't. To preface, I do my own maintenance on my vehicle and have 2 relatives that work at other Toyota dealerships and live with a family that owns 5 Toyota vehicles, so I am aware of how work should be done on my vehicle. Very disappointing service experience at Toyota of Lancaster. I brought my vehicle in for a gas gauge issue and was immediately met with dismissive communication from my advisor, Michael Hachey. I had to repeatedly call for updates, was given inconsistent information about rental coverage, and was pressured to return a rental immediately or “pay out of pocket” — even though my vehicle is still under warranty and less than a year old. The wait is usually crazy for an oil change, upwards of 2 hours with an appointment. Services are high priced, probably on par with most dealerships. The staff is friendly and they do have a little store inside to get snacks while you wait.
