Unfair Pricing and Lack of Transparency I had a very disappointing experience with Toyota of Killeen and feel obligated to warn others. This place is a rip off, they charge the service people outrageous prices for car repairs. They wanted to charge me ****** for a ****** mile check up, I called another Toyota dealership and the same thing was ****** dollars.

We compare our prices with other dealerships in our area as well as other Toyota dealerships in our region to make sure we are competitive. Some service departments do less work on a vehicle than others and that could be the reason for the price difference.
I scheduled an appt to have a new battery replace at 12pm on 18Jan. I arrived a few mintues prior to my appt. I asked my service advisor to not only replace my battery that was still warrantied at 50% but also to check my belts and hoses. He said no problem, they would check the belts and hoses at no charge. I waited 1 1/2 hrs before I went to check on my truck and was told my advisor would let me know what the mechanic found. My advisor never came so I went to him. Last week I corresponded extensively with a representative about a 2013 Toyota Avalon they were advertising for sale. Their ad had a long list of features for the car. I was told in writing that the car is a Toyota Avalon XLE Touring. The Touring version is top of the line and contains all the features mentioned in the ad. We agreed on a price and on Tuesday, March 23, 2020 I drove from Abilene (3 hours one way) to see the car and finalize the purchase. I went back through all emails and text between the customer and my staff. There is only one mention of trim level and it was the first contact. It stated "I see you are interested in the Avalon XLE". There was even pictures that were sent that clearly show it was an XLE. I don't feel like we did anything wrong.
