The quality of service here has deteriorated immensely, and you can tell because there are so many new employees working in the service department. You can't build a relationsip with any of them because every time you go you get someone different. Even though I have been going there for 15 years, I realize I cannot continue to go there anymore. I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience with the Gladstone Toyota service department. I scheduled an appointment to have a vehicle recall addressed, and the service department confirmed that they would also complete the 15k-mile service, even though my vehicle had only 12k miles. SCAMMERS!!! After multiple bad experiences, I have completely lost trust in Gladstone Toyota's service department. Save yourself the headache and money—here is why: 1. Predatory labor charges: I walked in simply to purchase air filters. The service advisor asked for my VIN and keys "just to check something." Service depart could use some better troubleshooting skills. I had my 30k service for my 2024 Toyota Carolla Cross. They noted the rear brake needed replaced. I though that was odd given the rear brakes provide very little stopping power and the front pad still have plenty of life left. I took it to Cooke's in SE Portland and he had me look at the pads.
