I recently had a problem with opening the door to the gas tank on my RAV4. After exhausting all the advice YouTube could give me, I brought it to this Toyota dealership. Its either incompetence, terrible communication within their team or they truly do not care in this service department. They have no sense of urgency and are fine with allowing my family and I to drive on defective tires they installed when we bought our used vehicle from the dealership. Came in on July 25th about a bad shimmy, they figured out 1 or both of the front tires were defective and would figure out the warranty and call me back the following Monday after speaking with the manufacturer. I had my first maintenance appointment for my Toyota Corolla in the Edmonton area after I moved from Calgary. Toyota Northwest Edmonton was the closest one to my place so I booked the service with them. Since I was covered under ECP, my service was covered and my experience has been great. As soon as I entered, I was greeted and my vehicle was examined. I left the keys and I wanted an oil change done and I was quoted an amount which was fair. I booked an appointment for an oil change for my Hyundai Elantra on Wednesday, with a confirmed time for Saturday at 9:30 AM. However, when I arrived, there was no separate line for appointments and walk-ins — everyone was waiting together, which defeats the purpose of pre-booking. After waiting 15 minutes in line, I was told they didn’t have the oil filter for my car and was asked to come back next week.
